Just because school has started, doesn’t mean that summer memories stop.

Iris is delighted with Jedi the Cat. He likes to come and visit from the neighbors. He seems pretty happy with the arrangement, too.

We signed Iris up for a Cross Country club.

Ready for the bus! And they were still smiling by the end of the first day, too.

For her birthday, Iris got to upgrade her room according to her tastes. This means no more pink.

And everyone likes it.

The school started a chess club, and Iris took part. Here she is at the tournament.

The end of May and beginning of June is a lovely time.

The local ice cream place, Dairy Shed, finally opened, and Iris was THERE for it. Wearing a coat. Because it’s Ohio spring.
