Sorry–better late than never! Iris, of course, went as an Alicheetah-fox, which is cheetah with a unicorn horn and wings, with a tiara and a fox tail as accessories. Of course.

Vaxxed to the max and still masked…
We told Iris that she would be able to go without the mask after becoming fully vaccinated. And on the first week of availability, she got her first shot! And she was a super-duper-trooper getting her second. Yet when she returned to school in January, we are still masking up. Safety first!
At the bus stop…
Iris returned to in-person school in August 2021. And she gets to ride the bus with her very best friend who also happens to live right next door.
Holidays!

Gifted project
Iris tested into the gifted program in kindergarten, and continued into grade 1 studying “China”. She is the only one in her grade who qualified. Finishing up the week
Iris learned the word “antepenultimate” this week, and I guess she was pretty motivated to learn the word for the almost-almost last week of school. I think that we are all looking forward to summer.
